Slumber Thoughts

GASP! Is this how I really look like when I sleep?!!!

Does this mean I’m inviting mosquitoes to come in?!

Would I be able to suck in more oxygen through my mouth?

I wonder if anyone tried to stuff feed me whilst I am sleeping?

Perhaps can even brush my teeth?!

I wonder if I also sing in my sleep?

Ok…ok…maybe better to close mouth once a while also…

My Multipurpose Backpack

I always believe that everything is invented or built with more than one functionality..

..like my multipurpose backpack!

Apart from its standard default function as a storage facility for my books, toys, water and other girl stuff (hee!), let me share with all of you what are the other wonderful stuff I can do with this multipurpose backpack of mine..

1. There are regular occasions inside our car when one or even both my brothers can get rather noisy. This can be quite irritating when I’m trying my best to catch a quick catnap or my (princess) beauty sleep. Hee. Never Fear! My backpack is here! By simply emptying the stuff inside the backpack, it can now function as fashionable ear mufflers!

2. When filled with stuff, this multipurpose backpack also performs rather admirably as a handheld weapon…hee…:-)

3. Again, back to another scenario in the car. Sometimes (especially these recent days) where the weather is just scorching hot, all the air cond and car window tinting is simply not good enough! My solution: From the ‘Ear Muffler’ mode in item 1 above, turn it up another level to ‘Sunshade’ mode…. done. Now I can go back to my beauty sleep…yawnnnn..zzzzzzz

Sleep Defense

I think it is very true that we are at our most vulnerable state when we are sleeping…

After all, when we sleep, almost all our systems shut down, including our eyes..especially our eyes! Gasp!

That is why apart from all those super-duper highly technologically advanced home security systems many people put up in their houses, I am here today to recommend a sleeping pose like no other:

“The Automated Self-Defense Sleeping Posture”

By taking the effort to sleep this way, you would have automatically activated the erm..’cannons’ on standby mode, whilst still allowing yourself some good night’s rest.

Trust me, this posture is really a tried and tested technique that seems to run in my family…well, at least with Koko Collin and I so far. Hmmmm…makes me wonder how did Papa sleep when he was a toddler…hee!

Stretching Bedtimes

It is always tough being a kid…..especially during bed times…

Yup, you know what I’m talking about! That ‘unlikable’ time during night time when adults start to instruct you to go to bed….sigh. If I had my way, us kids would be playing ALL NIGHT LONG! Hee!

Anyway, although both Koko Collin and I both technically go up to bed around 9.30pm, we do try our best to scheme ingenious methods to prolong our bedtime and spend more time downstairs.

These are some of our tried and tested methods:

– Offering to bring down the empty milk bottles after consuming our night feed upstairs. Sure to work!

– Feint thirstiness and proceed to come down stairs for a glass of water…

– Not enough pillows, so need to come downstairs to take some up…

– Not enough bolsters, so need to come downstairs to take some up…

– Need more milk…

– Forgot to take Wow Wow….

– Scared of the dark upstairs…

– Etc.

Pssst…if you have any other tips to help us stretch our bedtime, so SHARE, ok? 😀

Giggling Dreams

Do you laugh or smile when you sleep?

Apparently I do! And what is more fascinating is that most babies do too! Trust me, I did my research and checked with my baby network already, ok?

So, what is it that we dream about that is so funny? Honestly, I have no idea  because, I can’t seem to remember my dreams when I wake up. Sigh.

Anyway, I don’t know if it has been proven or not but it does seem like more older kids and adults seldom laugh or giggle in their sleep as much as babies do.

I wonder if it is because they are so stressed out in life that they don’t laugh anymore?

Or perhaps people get more and more serious as they get older?

Or perhaps we do lose our NATURAL sense of humour as we age?

Hmmmm….no wonder everyone yearns to become a KID again! Hehe!

Chill everyone! Remember to laugh in your sleep tonight OK? 😀
