More Bread Art

Continuing from my ‘bread art‘ series, these are a couple more fun stuff you can do when eating bread!

Step 1: Fold bread into half

Step 2: Munch twice in the middle of bread. Small munches please.

Step 3: Open up the bread

Step 4: TA- DA! The number “8″!

After a couple or more munches, you may or may not realise it but you can get various shapes of stuff before it finishes! Check out my aeroplane here…hehe

Now, isn’t eating bread fun? :-D

My Hunger Games

For babies like me, everything is a game, whether adults like it or not. Hee!

Here is a simplified process  flow of my hunger games, which begins at every bottle feed…

1. Do I feel hungry? If yes, go to 2. If not, go to 3.

2. CRY. Did anyone hear me? If yes, to go 4. If not, repeat no. 2

3. Make adorable faces, killer smiles and act cute for some time. Go back to 1.

4. Prepares self to be carried to feeding position. Open mouths to suck. Looks up to check on identity of feeder. Is the feeder Mama? If yes, go to 5. If not, go to 6.

5. Proceed to suck and feed happily.

6. Act cranky and start to fight the bottle feed. Does non-Mama pass on bottle to Mama to feed? If yes, go to 5. If not, go to 7.

7. Add on crying noises and leg kicks. Does non-Mama pass on bottle to Mama to feed? If yes, go to 5. If not, go to 8.

8. Do I feel more sleepy or hungry? Sleepy, go to 9. Hungry, go to 10.

9. Shut eyes and sleep first. When I wake up, go back to step no. 4

10. Gives in to non-Mama and drinks. Proceed to step 5.

Sounds like fun, no? Hmmm..perhaps I should start to include more people into my circle of feed in the future…hee!

Leg Lifts

As a baby, I realise that I do have MANY limitations to what I can do…

Besides sleeping, pooping, crying, feeding and waving my hands in the air (heck, I cannot even hit those irritating mozzies!), I cannot really do much else! Sad huh?

And since I cannot crawl, hop, walk, run or jump yet, even my selection of exercises are severely limited! Sigh.

I guess these are the times where I have to look at what I have and work out something from there, huh? For example, one of my favourite exercise motions now has to be ‘Leg Lifts’.

Step 1: Find comfortable position to lie down on back

Step 2: Gently lift up both legs as straight as possible into the air

Step 3: Bring down both legs back to the ground

Step 4: Repeat till time for next feed. Hee!

Enjoy!

...and LIFT up...two three four...

The Sibling Food Equilibrium

When it comes to food, both Koko Collin and I have managed to develop this mysterious equilibrium for the fondness of certain foods. It is as though we tend to complement each other in a way that if both of us were to eat a particular food, we should be able to finish all of it, without any fuss.

Confused yet? Let me illustrate.

For example, take a simple char siew pau. I would tend to dig into the meat portion, whilst Koko will only prefer to eat the bread portion. So if we joined forces, we should be able to cleanly take apart the char siew pau! Strange, no?

Here are other food stuff where the Sibling Food Equilibrium also works:

1. Char Siew Pau (Me: the meat; Koko: the bread)

2. Hard Boiled Egg (Me: the yolk; Koko: the white)

3. Chicken Porridge (Me: the chicken; Koko: the porridge)

4. Cheese Sandwich (Me: cheese; Koko: the bread)

5. Pizza (Me: more of the meat and toppings; Koko: more of the crust)

6. Meat Noodles (Me: more of the meat; Koko: more of the noodles)

7. Bak Kut Teh (Me: the meat; Koko: the soup)

8. Black Noodles (Me: the meat and toppings; Koko: the noodles)

9. Water in Bottle (Me: the straw; Koko: the water)

10. Pasta (Me: the ingredients; Koko: the pasta)

11. Fried Chicken (me: the crunchy skin; Koko: the meat)

Of course, we do share the same love for some foods like sausages, lap cheong, biscuits, medicine, vitamin, etc. Yup, generally stand-alone items…:-P

Do you also this much fun sharing food with someone else? :-)

The Great Outdoors!

Ahhh…the great outdoors!

There are times when I would seriously miss the boundless fun of space I can play with in Sitiawan….where the grass seems to be everywhere and courts all ready to play in!

Check out some of the outdoor activities I get to play with whenever I go back to Ah Por/Ah Koong’s house in Sitiawan…

posing with my push-cycle..

whew...this can be tiring!

football time!

playing ball with some new friends!

Ah Koong helping me with the bicycle..

Wheeeeee!

The small price to play for playing outdoors...:-P

all tigerized and patched up!

Smile of the Day!

Real or Rubber?

I’m seriously confused..

Although I am constantly fed with my favourite food (actually, it’s my only food…), i.e. Mama’s goodness on a daily basis, I cannot help it but realise that there is something very disturbingly different concerning the feeds.

Sometimes it is all naturally good. But there would be other times when I feel like I’m sucking on some cheap imitation rubber..all these things have made me confused and started me thinking…a lot…like..

Why these two different treatments? Is that rubber thing safe? Do I get a choice? Why does Mama sometimes also uses the rubber imitation? Can’t I get genuine products forever? Why does he temperature of Mama’s goodness varies when the rubber is used? Where can I get the feedback form? Does Mama’s goodness come in any other flavours?

Hmmmm….hope I sort out all the answers soon. This rubber vs real issue seems to be giving Mama a stressful time too. Oops..

Leadership Skills: The Voice

As a baby, I am starting to pick up plenty of new skills….and on a daily basis too!

Of the many skills learnt, one of my current favourites has to be the “authoritative voice”….

Don’t let my size fool you! It only takes a second for me to open my mouth and let out this booming voice (usually the only voice I am able to let out with such ferocity is a crying voice.hee!) and the adults will drop everything and hurry to be at my service. Cool, huh?

Definitely a great pick up in my leadership skills portfolio. Hee!

Footballing Rewards

It is very common in most households where the parent would reward the child with some sort of goodies for good behaviour, completing a task, etc. The typical rewards are like stickers, biscuit (sounds like some doggie reward, no?), toys, trip to the mall, a pat on the back, a kiss on the cheek, etc.

Not in our house…

Papa’s idea of reward includes exclusive FOOTBALL CARDS! Wee! I also have been given a photo album to store and (ahem) display my collection. Hee!

How cool is that, huh? :-D

See! I've been a GOOD boy! :-D
