Ahhhh….burgers…two slices of bread sandwiching one piece of meat and complemented with loads of extras like lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, etc…..in a mathematical equation:
(Bread)/2 + Meat + {cheese, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, etc.} = YUMMY!
I really have no idea how or when I fell in love with burgers. It just happened, I guess!
Perhaps it was the influence of that Cheeseburger song from Veggie Tales..
Or perhaps it was my continued obsession with McDonalds…
Or perhaps I had been brought up with knowledge that eating bread is good for me..
Or perhaps the burger ads on TV were very enticing!
Or perhaps it’s considered fast food….like Lightning McQueen like that..:-p
Whatever it is, I simply love it….more the bread part than the meat though….Don’t ask me why I am attracted more to the bread whilst Caitlynn seems to be more addicted to the fillings or the meat. maybe it’s better this way so the both of us won’t fight over a burger…hehe..
Apart from McDonald’s, there is this other burger stall which we frequent quite often. Since it is located quite near our area, it is very convenient too for us to literally drive-thru to get our burger fix. The main specialty of this stall called ‘Joe Burger’ is the unique oblong burger, which is always a favourite of mine. Somehow, I feel round burgers will have less bread and meat…anyway, I haven’t really found out if the uncle’s name is really Joe or not. :-p
