Good Half Words
Speech has continued to be a slow and steady process for me.
Whilst I am able to say quite a number of words with more then one syllable, I still find myself probing and exploring quite a bunch of lengthier words, but only able to speak out the last syllable clearly.
Check out my current list of “half words” as I would call it:
1. Ter (for Water)
2. Per (for Diaper)
3. Ster (for Rooster)
4. Af Feet (for Happy Feet)
5. Self (for Own Self)
6. Stairs (for Upstairs or Downstairs)
7. Amin (for Vitamin)
8. Stmas (for Christmas)
9. Arry (for Carry)
10. Flake (for Corn Flakes)
11. Ker (for Sticker)
12. Skut (for Biscuit)
13. Af-fant (for Elephant)
14. Atee (for Manatee)
15. A-more (for Some More)
16. N-more (for No More)
My Playful Pups

Of all my beloved soft toys (and there are SO many of them!), I need to make a special mention to two of my favourites – my twin puppies!
I cannot really remember where they came from or who bought it, but the fact is that they are now MINE and I simply adore them.
I love them so much that I always treat them like my own pets or babies – which includes constant love, feeding, patting, talking to, etc.

These twin puppies have to be the ones that Mama takes to wash most often, compared to my other soft toys. Shows how much ‘affection’ I show them everyday! Hee!
Most kids will have their favourite blankie or pillow. Some even may have a favourite action figure or plant. As for me, I’ll always have…my playful pups!

A Cool Volcano
Although food is best served piping hot, most times, we would still try to cool it down a little unless we want a burnt tongue!
These are some ways to cool down your hot, hot food:
1. Blow…
2. Turn on the fan…
3. Open the windows…
4. Use hand fan, or any available book, paper…
5. Get Papa or Mama to blow…
6. Go play something or watch TV first…
7. Ice it!
8. Stir it!
9. Smell the food first, whilst waiting…
And my favourite method of all…
10. Make a food VOLCANO….

Lessons from Silent Night: Peaceful
God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and self-controlled (Galatians 5:22; CEV)
Another thing I like about the Christmas season is learning and listening to a whole lot of Christmas songs. My favourite to date is the one called Angels We Have Heard On High, but I prefer to call it Gloria. Even Caitlynn can sing to that one! Hee!
Anyway, one of those days, Papa was playing some Christmas songs from this band called Third Day, when I heard this lovely live rendition of Silent Night…
Me: Papa?
Papa: Yes, Collin?
Me: What song is this Papa?
Papa: This song is Silent Night.
Me: Sky the Night?
Papa: No…it’s called SI-LENT NIGHT
Me: Orh…Silent Night.
Papa: Yes, Collin…Silent Night.
Me: What is Silent, Papa?
Papa: Silent is *Shhhhhhhhh*
Me: Huh?
Papa: Shhhhhhhh…as in staying quiet…
Me: Orh…staying quiet.
Papa: Yup.
Me: Staying quiet like staying peaceful, right?
Papa: Yes, Collin.
Me: Just like my memory verse number five…
Papa: What’s that, Collin?
Me: God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, PEACEFUL, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and self-controlled. Like that lor.
Papa: That’s right, Collin!
Influences of TV #9: Beauty Dreams
Yup, whilst I must admit that there are many influences, both positive and negative, that we will receive when watching too much TV, I believe that we should try to learn more from the positive influences…
…especially if the influence is one that offers you a dream or glimpse of a future possibility.
That’s exactly what I felt when the TV were screening this Ms Malaysia pageant thingy..

All those leggy beauties were parading themselves, answering all sorts of strange questions, whilst trying to impress the long line-up of judges….all these and more just to be crowned Ms Malaysia….whoa…
Could that be me on that stage sometime in the future?
Dare I dream?
Mmmmm..

Solving the Biotic Problem

(note: photo is an archived photo…not recent…so do not, I repeat – DO NOT be alarmed! I’m quite well now!)
I have had many sleepless nights trying to figure out what is it that makes us toddlers sick most of the time..
Is it because we put many unknown stuff into our mouths?
Is it because we do not know when to slow down to rest?
Is it because of the many open burnings of rubbish which adds to our air pollution?
After many months and months of experience of falling sick, I think I can conclude that the stuff that makes us all toddlers sick is none other than this stuff called “BIOTIC”
Don’t ask me where it originated from, but I just know the answer to solving this global problem lies with this BIOTIC stuff. Here me out here:
Everytime we fall sick, the doctor will typically prescribed some medication for us. This is all and well if we get better after a few days of taking them, but what happens if we are still sick after the medication is completed? If we go and see the doctor again and our condition seems worse than before, the doctor would most likely prescribed this ‘miracle’ thingy called ‘anti-biotic’. We are then supposed to complete this medication according to its prescribed dosage.
More often than not, after gulping down this ‘anti-biotic’, we would feel better again. Although doctors tend to say that we should not allow toddlers or kids to depend too much on anti-biotic, fact of the matter is that anti-biotics actually work!
So, here’s my theory: ANTI-biotic is specially called as such so that it negates or fights BIOTIC. Thus, whenever BIOTIC is beaten, we get well again. Hence, the main evil in making all of us sick must be BIOTIC!
And the only reason why doctors refuse to let us depend more and more on anti-biotics is because the more we decrease the elements of BIOTIC in our system, we should naturally be increasing the BIONICS in our system.
Question is, could we actually become super strong like Bionic Kids if we take too much anti-biotics? Hmmmmm…
Angry Breaks

Yup, blogging can be a pretty tiring task…see how serious and stressed out I look in front of the PC…I’m sure all of you bloggers out there would have experienced this one time or another..:-D
So, what would I do to de-stress?…
Well, if I am with Kan Pa, he would gladly open up games for me to play! Hee!
He says it will help me improve my hand and eye coordination..:-P

Ahhh….it always feels good to knock down walls and structures and destroying pigs at the same time!
This is what I would call my ‘angry breaks’!
How do YOU de-stress from blogging?
