Tall Tales
About a month ago, I was in this shopping mall and pulled Papa towards this weird looking contraption that could apparently tell my weight and height – provided we feed it some coins.
Papa obliged and allowed me to stand still there whilst he put in enough coins for the machine to function.
After some lights and sound show, the machine spewed out the following chit which shows my height and weight…

Wowee! I never knew I was already 204.5 cm tall! Watch out NBA scouts! Sadly I am way below my ideal weight range of 70.5 – 104.6kg, and a ridiculous BMI of 10! Haha.
The moral of the story is…don’t trust machines, especially those that tells the height or weight. Did I just make a few more friends today? Hee!
Pixel Perfect
Yeah!!! Our first family photo shoot is finally ready – and we’re happy to share some of these stunning shots in today’s photo blog! For those regular readers, you may remember that we won some photoshoot contest organised sometime ago by the good people in Two-Pixels Photography?
Well, we arranged for the ‘phototherapy’ session on 31 Oct in Gold Coast, Sepang. But due to the distance and difficulty in reaching there early for the shoot, we agreed to change the location to Cyberjaya instead. Although it rained a bit that morning, it was fairly dry and sunny already when we met the two ladies from Two-Pixels there.
The photoshoot had a picnic theme and later on, we had a quick change into Papa’s football theme….hehe. Mama is super great to oblige too…hee!
All in all, both Koko Collin and myself enjoyed ourselves that morning! Thank you Two-Pixels for great shots and even greater memories! They have even posted up some other photos on their blog here.
Meanwhile, enjoy the photos!

Medicine Tales!
Behold! My first ever song composition!
Perhaps it was due to over-dosage of Veggie Tales, or perhaps it was because of my overflowing passion for medicine… but the other day when Papa started taking out some medicine to feed me (yeah, I fell sick two weekends ago), I just blurted out in Veggie Tales sing-song to their theme song…
“Medi-cine, Medi-cine, Medi-cine….Medicine!….brocolli-oops..”
I just love my medicine! It’s GOOD!
A Ball of a Time!

Mmmmm...this munchie has a bouncy feeling!
Balls are fun. Period.
Fun to roll about with. To eat. To chew. To bounce. To throw.
The list of exciting things to go ‘ballastic’ about just goes on and on…
That’s why I’m rather happy that in my home there is never a shortage of ball toys. I can be rest assured there will be those soft footballs or basketballs Papa will gladly pass to me to play with. At least they are soft enough so when sometimes Koko Collin becomes a little naughty and uses my head as bounce practice, it doesn’t hurt. Hmmmm, was that Papa encouraging it in the background?…sigh.
Anyway, whatever activity it is, it is always fun in the house when I’m having a ball of a time!

football training in session...
Football Friday!

"Man U ready?...:-D"
My First Birthday Bash! (Part 2 of 2)
Continuing where we left off from Heritage Hotel in Part 1, we then proceeded to Kudeh and Kim Nin’s house for me to perform some birthday stunts and also open my pressies! Yay!
My photoblog will tell the tale…

All sorts of junk was placed in front of me...made me feel like Paul the Octy - and I went for....Papa's handphone!

the adults were having so much fun they didn't want the show to stop and continued to spur me on to choose other stuff....so I obliged and picked the book as choice No. 2 - does that mean I'm gonna be a scholar? or librarian? or surf facebook everyday?!
and then I took the money....good lor...shows I'm not too greedy..:-p
and then the pen....hmmmm, perhaps I'd like the keyboard more, or touch screen devices! hehe...
presents I received included some gold blings for my tiny feet...

...musical toys...yay! now to practice snatching it back from Koko Collin...
some fashion accessories for my hair/head and shoes too!

I must say adults seem to like pink very much...

the boys seemed more than happy to tear open my pressie wrappers...:-D
finally it's over...time to sleep! hey, how come no one gave me any pillows as a present?!
My First Birthday Bash! (Part 1 of 2)
Whoa. How time flies! It seemed like only yesterday when I was carried from Mama’s tummy to the warm crib! Some two weeks ago, I celebrated my first birthday with my family and also Papa and Mama’s immediate families back in Ipoh. It was a simple yet meaningful bash. Took some time to compile the numerous photos that were taken…so finally I get to blog about it today. Hee!
In summary, Ah Ma arranged for the birthday lunch in Heritage Hotel and coordinated for all to arrive on time. On the way there, Papa stopped by somewhere to collect my special ‘princess’ birthday cake. It was all butter and full of sugar-rich icing. Too bad I couldn’t enjoy much of it. Sigh.
After the lunch, we proceeded to Ku Deh and Kim Nin’s house to open my pressies and also to take part in some weird activity to see which object I would pick up, that would determine my career or source of income in the future. These adult folks can sure be weird sometimes.
Anyway, I will let the photos to tell the story of my first ever birthday bash!

My princess cake...with the doll in 'vampire-mode'...hehe

it was a buffet lunch, so virtually impossible to get everyone at the table at any one time..

Koko Collin and cousin Ethan sure enjoyed each other's company!

...and how this was how the cake looked with one lit candle...

everybody sings Happy Birthday to me! Hee! Koko Collin seems fixated on the doll though...hmmmm

The cutting of the dress, er..cake. First time I was allowed to hold a knife! Wee!

Our family photo!

this is how the cake looked like on the inside...yummy!

Ah Kong and Ah Ma with all their grandchildren...hey, where's ME?!!

the bash was quite an experience for me...scary to see a large crowd eating stuff I can only watch in hunger, but joyous at the love and warmth that was gathered!
Whew….now off we go to Ku Deh and Kim Nin’s house for Part 2 of my birthday bash! Stay tune for Part 2 for the continuation of my photo blog tomorrow!
Steps to Freedom
Last week was a huge milestone for me.
I was in Auntie D’s house when it happened. As what I’ve done so often, I crawled to the nearby chair and heaved myself up to stand so that I could cruise to another location with support along the way.
Then, something caught my eye that compelled me to head towards it. Then it happened…
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven…steps.
Suddenly, I paused in my tracks. I took my eyes off my target object and looked down.
GASP! I was walking without any support. My knees fell weak to the shock as I dropped down to my knees again. Wee!
Since then, I’ve been taking more and more steps forward, getting braver and braver to make it quickly to the walk and run stage. :-p
I can’t hardly wait! Hee!
Where Are We Going?…
Whenever we go for our family travels or roadtrips, I always make a mental checklist to so that I remember to bring all the important stuff I need to bring. Just like before our recent roadtrip back to Ipoh to celebrate Caitlynn’s birthday, my mental checklist kicked into gear…
Water. Check!
Veggie Tales CD. Check!
Biscuits. Check!
Luggage (that Mama has lovingly packed!). Check!
Shoes. Check!
Window shades. Check!
Go toilet first! Check!
Blanket. Check!
Rehearse “Where are we going” line again. Check!
Seatbelt buckled. Check!
Shades. Check!

All set!
Alrighty! Err…where are we going again?…:-P
