Happy Halloween!

Boo! It's Collinstein...:-p

Tears and Joy

Bathing is sure one unique activity – it manages to bring out tears and joy at the same time!

I get so excited during bath times that I simply cannot wait to jump into the bath tub! And when I’m inside, I just can’t stop splashing water all over! Heck, I can’t stop smiling and laughing either! Hee!

But when some one tries to pull me out of the bath tub at the end of my bath time (which is ridiculously too short, by the way), the joy on my face instantly turns to an irritated figure full of tears, wailing and crying.

Can’t I just bathe forever and ever and ever?…:-p

Stampede!

A couple of weeks back, I learnt a lesson that looks can be deceiving and also that I need to read for hints..

We were at this shopping mall when I spotted this particular fun-looking thingy…

I should have smelt danger…after all, the cow head probably indicated a stampede hazard..

Anyway, I indicated my interest to jump into it and Papa and Mama allowed me…no longer than 3 minutes was I inside this bouncy playground was I knocked all over and almost crushed by a stampede of overgrown buffaloes. Fortunately, a nice kid offered his hand and helped me to safety away from this terrifying playground.

Makes me wonder isn’t there any age limit for kids to jump in there? Next time, I’ve learnt to take a peek inside first…

Papa had to soothe me for a while…before I was back to my normal self again! Another nice fella nearby also twisted and turned a long balloon into a pirate sword for me! Also, good thing there was a stage nearby to help me dance my woes away too..hee!

DIY: Metal Detector

Step 1: Find a piece of stick or rod.

Step 2: Find a metal pot or container cover.

Step 3: Insert stick/rod into the cover handle.

Step 4: Check if the gadget does not fall apart.

Step 5: The metal detector is all ready!

Let’s go treasure hunting!!

Peek-a-boo!

I am a good imitator.

Perhaps that is yet another coincidental characteristic of a ‘cat’, but that is another story.

You see, I have studied the various, and often comical ways of adults trying to play peek-a-boo with me. And I am proud to say that I have advanced to the next level of growth – pulling off my own peek-a-boo!

Check out my skill as I surprise everyone from behind the food cabinet..hee!

moving into position..

"peek-a-boo!!"

Family Foto Friday!

Ice Cream Head

There are just so many fun and unpredictable aspects to bath time that I could talk about.

However, one such activity which I kinda liked of late is getting Mama to bundle the towel on my head. I have totally no idea what the name of this fashion statement is, but I like to call it putting an ice-cream on my head…

Do you have one on your head today too? :-D

it's always cool to have an ice-cream on one's head..

mama, my hairstylist...

Caught in the Act!

Oh no! I’ve been caught in the act of ransacking the food cabinet!

This is NOT my normal self! honest! I’ve been heavily influenced by my Koko! The door was already opened in front of me! The stuff fell out from the cabinet by themselves…

Nooooooooooooooooo….

caught red handed!

Hmmm...what's next?

Two Thumbs Up!

I have learnt that it is always good to give honest and sincere feedback in things that we have eaten or shows that we have seen on TV.

Especially since adults have this strange knack of asking if anything new I tasted is good or not.

So now, if it is good, I will expressively give them my thumbs up and say, “Good!”

That being said, I still can’t figure out why the thumb is used and not the fingers or even my ears or nose…

Things I hate…

1. Strange people who come near near to pinch my cheeks, make funny faces, pat my head, etc. and then finish off by asking if I was a boy..

2. The short amount of time spent in the bath room. Can’t I have like an hour’s worth of bath time?

3. Inconsiderate motorists who still honk after midnight!

4. Being strapped to the car seat facing back! Papa’s Man U head rest as my only view does not help either!

5. Watching in sadness behind the grilled door as Koko Collin and the two other girls play badminton in the evening outside Auntie d’s house. Sigh.
