Training in-Session!

Most parents will give their babies soft toys or teethers to play with when we’re lying down on our backs. Not Papa!

Whenever he gets the chance, he will flash this strange logo in front of me when I’m lying down. He even seems pleased when I start tasting it with my mouth…weird.

Anyway, Koko Collin tells me it is the Manchester United logo and this is still at the very early stage of what Papa prefers to call ‘training sessions’.

Hmmmmm. Should I be worried?…

Why Sit?

I find it strange how adults always seem to say things like “I’m tired….need to sit down..”

Now that my back bone is pretty strong enough, I have been regularly positioned in those sitting positions as such….and I don’t really like it. Papa and Mama seems to be happy to see me hold that position for those few seconds before I drop off to the side and fall like a tree. Don’t think it’s amusing from where I’m seeing it though. Hmmmph.

"It's so hard to reach for the remote when I'm seated!"

Anyway, I think I’m so much more happier lying on my tummy, crawling and rotating here and there, avoiding those coold hard floors and also Koko Collin jumping and running by. Ahhhh.

Perhaps, I shall enjoy sitting down in the future, but for now, can I enjoy lying around a little bit more? :-D

"Ahhh..this is better!"

My 1Malaysia Concept

After months of hearing all these talk and promotions about 1Malaysia, I think I’ve (finally) understood what ti all means…

And I believe I am fully embracing this concept in my everyday life and speech! Really! See, these are examples of my everyday talks..

“I like driving ONE!”

“My guitar is upstairs ONE!”

“This is Papa book ONE..”

“I love Mei-Mei ONE…”

“I play with cup in big bathtub ONE!”

Did I get my concept of 1Malaysia right? What’s yours? :-P

The Grounds We Play…

Some of my happiest moments in the neighbour hood is this simple little playground (little, compared to the BIG playground in Genting Highlands..) where they have my favourite slide and hughe tubes for me to crawl up, down over and under..hee!

The other evening, the whole family went out to the playground. It has been sometime since I went there so I discovered how much I have grown when I could actually climb up more stuff now, side down more the more daunting slide, and even sit properly on the horsey springy ride. Hee!

It was also the first time Caitlynn went there but I could tell she seem very happy swinging on Mama’s lap on the swings as well as the see saw. She’ll surely get to enjoy more of this when she grows up bigger.

Anyhow, here are some of the pics from our playground outing..

"Weee!! this is slippery fun!!"

"I love these mini-tunnels!!"

"Look! my weight can balance both Mama and Meimei!"

"I'm one cool rider! hee!"

"My swinging ladies..;-D"

Football Friday!

To celebrate this quirky competition Papa is going all crazy over (and he insists the entire world is too), here are some photos to commemorate the kick-off of this month-long World Cup!

ready for kickoff!

football again?! can i have another toy please?!!

training in session.....poor me!

the sibling huddle..:-P

Mystery of the Disappearing Kid

There’s just something about blankets and bedsheets that attract kids…okay, so maybe for some, the attraction my be in some weird forms. Whilst they do keep me warm and snugly at night, I also like to hide under them (as you would have read in my previous blogs), causing me to disappear completely from sight! Hee!

Here is a shot by shot of me playing hide and seek with Papa and Mama…

step 1: go under the covers..

step 2: pull covers over thea head..

almost there...

you can't see me! ok, maybe if I was a little shorter..:-p

Pastasorous

Are today’s kids more fussy when it comes to food? Do teh food manufacturers need to crack their brains more to make food stuff more interesting and catchy? Hmmmm.

Whatever it is, I’m just happy Heinz came up with this cute product of dinosaur-shaped pasta, which Mama cooked for me some time back. And because Caitlynn still has no teeth (haha..), I got to finish it all by myself..Wee!

Wonder if they have it in football shapes for Papa? Hehe…

"Yummy!!! I'm eating dinosaurs!!"

Papa also enjoyed it in his Kueh Chap soup..hehe..

Hero Up!

I am starting to worry about the mental state of Koko Collin. Perhaps it could be due to too much of banging into things…or perhaps it culd be overexposure to TV. Whatever it is, of late, there have been plenty of these ‘hero up’ moments.

One minute he thinks he’s Batman, the next minute he says he’s Superman…later, he’s Ben 10…and then he could be Ultraman….sigh.

Anyway, I still don’t have teh capability to slap some senses into him, but I guess one has to be realistic about these awesome superpowers. For example, I always believe my superpowers will grow and increase over time.

As of now, these are my superpowers…

1. Turbo Boost – Certainly helps in my early stages of crawling. A little ‘boost’ from my err, rear does help propel me in front and faster too!

2. ‘Adamantium-like’ claws – more evident if Mama hasn’t been cutting my nails. Ensures yelping pain to whosoever I pinch or grab..

3. Killer Smile – Melts the hearts of all onlookers, who will usually proceed to carry me or pinch my cheeks..

4. Banshee scream – My vocals can reach up to scary decibels, especially if I’ve not been fed…be warned..

Professional Poledancing

What will I be when I grow up?

Well, at my very young age, I guess it will do me no harm to try out various jobs to discover all my hidden potential and talents…ahem.

Here, you will see me trying out some basic pole-dancing…heard it’s a very good form of exercise too. Somehow, I don’t think boys are very good at it though. Everytime Koko Collin tries to do the same, he will pull or tear down the entire pole structure. If successful in taking apart the poles, he will use them as weapons to hit stuff….sigh.

Will boys ever learn peace?…
