Drama King Moments

I have been known to be a bit of a drama king every now and then…ok ok, perhaps, it’s in my blood or it’s second nature to me. Anyway, these are my top three favourite ‘dramatic’ moments thus far. In no particular order, my personal nomminees…

1. Papa had just finished giving me a bath when he left me inside the bathroom to prep and get ready the towel. Suddenly, I burst out from the bathroom door, dripping with flowing water from head to toe, buck naked, eyes wide open, mouth agape..and with dramatic tension and worry in my voice, I exclaim..”I’m wet!!!”

2. Over teh past week, I had not been feeling too well. I would tend to sneeze very often and have these liquids flow out from my nose, which Papa and Mama would usually promptly come and help wipe it off with a hanky. The otehr day, I was playing by myself when “Ah choo!!!”. I let out a big sneeze. Without skipping a beat, I stood there stunned as if I had just been shot, raised my head upwards with my hands clutching my nose, whilst screaming, “I’m leaking…I’m leaking!”

3. Just recently, I was playing around with one of Mama’s feeding bottles in the living room and I ‘accidentally’ threw it on the floor and it rolled away, disappearing under the sofa. Suddenly, a wave of concern flashed acrossed my face. I put on my most bewildered look, threw up both my hands in the air and questioned with full conviction, “Where is my bottle? Where? Where? WHERE?!!!”

Our Genting Getaway (pt 2/2)

“What a BIG playground!!”

That was all that came to my mind when I ventured into Genting Highland’s theme park. Thanks to Ah Ma for redeeming a complimentary all-park ride for one day, I was able to enjoy myself very much up there. The free pass was used by Papa as I was still hovering around the ‘height that need not pay’. So whilst Mama and Mei-Mei Caitlynn waited from the sides, Papa took me all over the indoor and outdoor theme park to try out mos tof the rides that I could ride on.

Apart from the scary Pirate Train ride where I spent the entire journey clinging on to Papa for dear life (thankfully no nightmares that night) and the Crazy Science Lab ride, where I was already crying in the dark BEFORE the ride began, all the other rides were awesome! really can’t wait to come back for more rides, especially those with those ridiculous height restrictions….I shall be TALLER next time…I promise..hee!

"wrapping myself up in this cold weather...especially since i'm still recovering from a nasty cold..."

"inside the Ferris wheel!...why do they always cage us up? sigh.."

"inside the belly of the dragon!"

"i wonder if this is how being santa is like?..."

"hmmm...i think Papa needs to lose some weight before coming aboard this train.."

"i love horses and carousels....think I must have gone for at least 10 rides here.."

"I got to SIT on a BUS!!!:-D"

"Tea, anoyone?"

"I'm leaving....on a jet plane..."

Our Genting Getaway (pt 1/2)

Two weekends ago, Papa and Mama took leave from their work to take Koko Collin and myself for a quick family getaway in Genting Highlands! Wee! If I remember correctly, this would be our very first family holiday since I joined the party last November. :-D

It was really exciting for both Koko Collin anf myself as we have never been up there before. Some more, Ah Kong and Ah Ma from Ipoh also made the trip up there to be with us. Really exciting! Hee! For Papa, he was also visibly excited, possibly because it was the first time he drove all the way up there. Usually, they would drive up halfway and take the ‘gondola’ up. Thanks to my stroller and other stuff, this was not possible anymore. Hee!

Anyway, these are some of the pictures taken during our getaway in part 1 of this photoblog edition. Koko Collin will share more photos of his theme park adventures in a later blog.

packing up some snacks for the trip!

"these highlands can be quite chilly!..."

"don't I look adorable in these caps? hee!"

"striking a pose with my lovely Ah Ma!"

"zzzzz.....whilst Koko Collin went to the theme park....poor me..:-("

"what a fantastic holiday! Wee! can't wait to come here again!"

The Meaning of Love…

Does anyone doubt that a two-year old like me does not know the meaning of love? Here’s a recent chit-chat with Papa that shows how much I know about love…

Papa: Collin…do you love Papa?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Do you love Mama?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Do you love Mei-Mei?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Ermmm…do you love pasta?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Do you love medicine?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Do you love noodles?

Me: Yes…

Papa: Collin…do you know the meaning of LOVE?

Me: Yes..

Papa: OK, Collin….what is LOVE?

Me: Love is Mei-Mei…

(Awwwwww….)

Diva Divan

I still don’t understand what it is with adults and their fascination (or obsession, rather) for nice comfy mattresses. You will see all sorts of weird elements people would look for when buying a mattress, such as double, triple, quadruple coil springs, coconut husks or fibre, memory latex, Macpherson struts suspensions…

Anyway, for me, the best bed in the world would still be the natural mattress of Papa and Mama. Certainly beats any of the artificial mattreses out there! Hee!

Pose of the Day

“Eh…how come Mei Mei’s nose cannot make honking sound one?!”

Brushing Chore

As I mentioned in an earlier blog, one of my favourite features of bath times is when I get to use the toothbrush…only not for brushing my teeth…

It feels so much more fun when I use it to pretend cooking ‘chicken’ in the bathroom, or when I’m biting it! Hee! Anything but using it to brush my teeth! I really dislike the feeling of the stick of brush poking and scrubbing the insides of my teeth. Quite ticklish too, I guess. :-p

Anyway, Papa has been trying all sorts of methods of getting me to brush my teeth. Some of his ‘brushing teeth’ customised songs that he sings to me to spur me to brush my teeth include..

(tune of O Clementine)

You MUST brush your teeth tonight

Brush it left and brush it right

Brush it up and brush it down

Spit the water on the ground!

and to the tune of Row Row Row your Boat:

Brush, brush, brush your teeth…brush it left and right

Gargle, gargle, gargle, gargle…spit it out of sight

Brush, brush, brush your teeth…brush it up and down

Gargle, gargle, gargle, gargle…spit it on the ground!

Sigh…makes me wonder why we should brush our teeth. Anyone out there have tips to make brushing teeth more exciting?

Click! Click!

Papa has been bemoaning of late that it has become quite difficult to take photos of me.

Maybe it’s because everytime Papa grabs the camera, I will also spring into action and grab the remote control and pretend it to be my camera…

Hmmm…wonder what other hints I have to give Papa that I want one camera too! Hehe..:-P

Look Who’s Cookin’?

Sigh….I never thought I would ever be viewed as food…:-(
