My Brother, the Hijacker…

I can’t help but notice how much my big brother Collin seems to like to play with my stuff….I am quite sure some of these things are already wayyyy past his age, but yet he is visibly thrilled to play with it..

….like my crib

…like my car seat

…like my cot ( I half expected it to break when he rolled around it like it was some wrestling ring…)

…like my toys (which I figured he was playing with it when he was smaller, right?!)

…like my nen-nen bottle

And recently, when Joyce Kor-Kor’s Hannah was in town to celebrate her first birthday, I was fast asleep in my stroller during the entire lunch do at Italiannies. After that, as we were leaving the place, I woke up and Papa decided to carry me for a while. Like a flash, Koko Collin hijacked the stroller and laid himself there! I heard Mama having difficulties moving it with him inside and also I could have sworn I heard some creaking noises too!

Sigh….I guess Koko Collin just misses the stroller. Hee!

Notice how happy Koko Collin looks!! :-p

I’m Lovin’ It!

Some weeks ago, I was introduced to this wonderful restaurant called McDonalds….you know, the one with the yellow “M” logo against a red background. Papa took me together with my two Ah Mais to buy some ice cream there during a blackout session in Sitiawan….and then I remember playing in their indoor playground which was really cool!…..and then one of its waitresses also came over our table and gave me a Mcdonald’s pencil case! (and I didn’t even need to ‘electrocute’ her!:-p)…and there were also those toys that sometimes came with some kid’s meal….and their FRIES!..whoa!!

I am so lovin’ McDonald’s right now I can easily associate it’s logo with it’s name! Now if only there were more companies with such catchy logos, I figured learning ABCs would be a breeze!

Anyway, my obsession with McDonald’s hit a new high the other day when I was playing around with my toy below:

To the common eye, it plainly looks like the letter ‘B’, and rightfully so as it is actually one third of an mobile ABC set. However, that night, I simply took it up, turned it over, pulled it apart slightly and acclaimed victoriously, “McDonald!”

The Letter “J”

Today’s blog is specially brought to you by the letter “J”. Now, what do I know about this wonderful letter? Let’s see…

J stands for JUMP, which is one of my favourite acitivities these days…

J stands for JOY, which I am always full and overflowing with! Wee!

J also stands for JEALOUSY….hmmm, not really familiar with that word yet, but I’m slowly learning more and more about it everyday…

Family Foto Friday!

Exclusive Evasions

Many people have no idea what it challenge it was for me to perfectly time my birth for 26 November. When Mama was due to deliver me ‘anytime’ at the end of October, it would seem that my birthday would eventually fall in November. Only one problem.

November was no ordinary month. It was a month that was littered with sooooooo many other birthdays and important dates of immediate family members and close relatives (like Mama, Ah Kong, Koo Kong, Ah Yih Chek, our late Chor-Chor, Ah Kong & Ah Ma’s anniversary, etc.)…whew!…and other dates I don’t even know what they are but it is related to my family…

Anyway, one day at a time, I managed to escape all those dates and found one just exclusive and special for myself…Hee!

Giveaway Winner!

Yay! I just read that the contest results from the Little Red Reading Nook are out! Although I didn’t bag the grand prize, I am happy to announce that my blog entry made it to the Special Mention list and I was also awarded a Free Shipping Voucher to buy stuff from this cool online bookstore and also its partner shops, namely Cupcake Chic Children’s Boutique, Huiwearn Kids Store and Pretty Roses for Pretty Girls !

Time to pester Papa to go online shopping! Wee! And best of all, I can finally stop reading all these deep level books Papa has and start to read stuff at my level! :-P

My first pen(t)house!

One of the most exciting things about coming back to KL after Mama’s confinement is this – I get my own pen(t)house! Erm…ok, playpen, that is… the only strange thing about the playpen is that I’m not sure if I’m expected to ‘sleep’ inside the ‘play’pen? And if I am, why do they have those distracting stuff hovering above me. Are they supposed to hypnotised me to dreamland? Hmmmm

Nevertheless, it is really quite a  comfy place to be, and besides, it does keep me fairly safer from that mischievous brother of mine. Hee!

Orange Juice, Anyone?

One of my favourite activities over the past CNY was playing with oranges. For those who have not had much playing time with these delightful round fruits, then you would have no idea how much fun they can be..

For example, adults seems to freak out whenever I hold them in my hand and say “throw!”…. or I could spend hours just peeling the skin off. But the best activity one can do with an orange must be making juice from it..

..and here I demonstrate the best technique to make natural orange juice…

Oh goody! I have Godparents!

A couple of months back, Papa and Mama decided to nominate some couple to become my godparents. I was quite shocked and also slightly concerned because I have totally no clue what godparents do…

To my delight, it turned out that my godparents would be my very own favourite uncle and auntie, Ku Deh and Kim Nin! I know they love me because they always buy me stuff when they see me and they also like to take me go shopping and do stuff. Hee!

A simple ceremony was conducted to commemorate this, with my godparents presenting Papa and Mama with a cute gold ornament thingy which looked like a pineapple to me. Then, we proceeded to take lotsa photos after that. Sure was a joyful moment!

So, to my ‘new’ Kan Pa and Kan Ma, thanks for being my godparents! I promise to be good! :-D
