One Step Forward, Two Steps Back…

My infamous drool has now become more of a phenomenon and is quickly turning legendary…

I understand that docs have managed to theorised that I was drooling profusely when I was much younger because of my twisted tongue thingy. After my operation, the drooling continued for a good month or so, mainly because the saliva needs to flow and help reduce the post-op pain.

After that, I really thought I could say goodbye to those irritating bibs when I stopped drooling as badly as before. Then towards the end of last year, my nemesis returned again to haunt me. I am quite sure my tongue didn’t get entangled again, nor did I eat anything that cause my saliva glands to open non-stop. Sigh…

So, till today, past teh age of TWO, I still sport the dreaded bib every now and then….. whilst I’m progressing well in other areas, I have somehow gone backwards with my drool. Sigh.

Vroom, Vroom!

Watching Papa drive everyday just makes me salivate more and more. Seriously. The sound of the engine purr and thrill of zooming around on wheels is really my kinda thing.

Sigh….can’t wait for the day where I can get my hands on some real wheels and drive around…..till, then I shall have to be contented with beautiful wheels that either don’t go places…

…or set of wheels that needs my legs to move around with….how sad is that?!! :-p

Who, Me Violent?

Learning to flex my hands and legs has been most interesting of late. I think I can be considered quite an active child whenever I’m awake because my hands and legs just cannot seem to stop wriggling and punching and kicking!

I also have this strange tendency to pump fists with both my hands and wave it around furiously as if I was conducting a rally or picking a fight…If you think this makes me violent, no no no….I would rather look at it as a necessary stance.

You see, with a violent big brother around, I’d better equip myself with some basic self-defense, dontchu think so? *wink*

The Other Side of the Grille…

Funny how things are interpreted differently when viewed by different people or perspectives.

Take a simple object like those steel grilles, for example. An object of safety, of security…which also doubles up as an object of fun when you can climb on it or pose for pictures with it, like this:

Then, if you look at it from another angle, it could also make you feel like you’re in a caged zoo with visitors looking in. Just glad they’re not throwing peanuts at me yet….:-p

“I Want!!”

Not sure if I will really grow up to be the demanding type but early signs are there to tell that I probably might. One of my favourite phrases currently is “I Want!”

Two simple words that can prove quite demanding and irritating to adults at times. Hee! The effects can be further enhanced by adding additional words at the end of it, such as…

“I want MEDICINE!”

“I want McDonalds!

“I want pom-pom!” (ie bath)

“I want! I want! I want!” (whilst jumping up and down like a baby kangaroo…)

Hee!

A Slinging Good Time!

One of the most beautiful things about growing up is getting to know the people around you better. So as I am learning new stuff everyday about life, I am also glad to learn new things about my family too.

Like how I found out how skillful Mama is when she produced this slinging contraption that enables her to carry me whilst leaving her hands free to do other stuff! Although it can be quite stuffy in there at times, but it sure becomes really comfy in air-conditioned and cooler areas like shopping malls. Guess that’s where mama needs to use her hands more…hehe..

A Walk in the Park

During our last trip back in Sitiawan, Papa and mama managed to squeeze in a short but interesting trip to a park in Lumut. It’s located just next to the sea, so it was rather breezy although we were there under the hot afternoon sun.

Kudeh Wei was also around and he delighted in experimenting with his digital SLR camera. Here are some shots (both from Papa’s and Kudeh Wei’s cameras) that made our walk in the park all worth the memories…and sweat..:-D

Mama & Caitlynn resting under the shades whilst I went a-strollin' with Papa

whew! finally found a some shade!!

a miniature version of Teluk Intan's leaning clock tower. I swear I didn't push it!!

Ah...the sea breeze and view...

I think I've exceeded my kilometere quota for the day!

Nice camera Kudeh! can I play with it? :-D

A family shot before we went home. :-D

What Goes In…

I found out that Koko Collin has been affectionately (or scarily, rather) known as the Poopinator in his younger days.

Turns out I’m almost the exact opposite! I’ve already been around for more than three months now and I really, really seldom poop, sometimes none at all for a few days! But when I do, it can be quite, erm…explosive, to say the least. Anyway, that’s another story.

If there was a nickname to give me, I guess it might have to be the Vomitnatress (or something to that extent). Yeah, I know it sounds disgusting but for some reason, Mama’s goodness just doesn’t seem to be able to stay inside of me for very long. There’s just a very high possibility of me puking it out after every feed. Maybe that’s why Papa or Mama tends to frantically burp me after every feed.

Papa was also visibly upset when I puked on his Argentina jersey the other day. Wonder what’s that all about. Must be some football thingy I still do not comprehend.

Anyway, I hope to get over this problem soon. After all, I know how precious Mama’s goodness is. :-D
